About me

Martin Thomas

In a 25-year career spanning journalism, corporate communication and copy writing, I’ve written all sorts of content.

I’ve ghost-written regular messages from the CEO of a global corporation to its 35,000 employees, reported on prime ministerial visits, conducted interviews with business leaders, politicians, Everest climbers and sports stars, written copy for numerous websites, and developed and delivered material for editorial training programmes.

I’m the editor of a magazine about cycling, I’ve had a couple of poems published, I was a runner-up in a BBC Radio 4 short story competition, and I’m the proud holder of a Plain English Campaign diploma and a University of Sussex Creative Writing Certificate.

Over the years I’ve been a corporate press officer, an internal communication manager, a magazine editor and a newspaper reporter – I’ve been a bicycle courier and a hospital porter in my time too.

If you need help with pretty much any kind of content – or advice about the best way to communicate with the people who really matter to you – the chances are I can help you.
